Meet Arvia… P&O Cruises newest ship to join their impressive fleet. Setting sail on her maiden voyage to the Canary Islands for some winter sun in December 2022 before she heads for the tropical sunshine shores of the Caribbean; Arvia plans to offer its guests a holiday to never forget.
With over 15 restaurants to send your taste buds on a tantalising journey around the world, the first rum distillery at sea and a dazzling retractable SkyDome that by day offers stunning panoramic views and by night becomes an extraordinary performance venue under the stars; your days at sea are set to be remarkable.
With any new P&O Cruises ship you’re guaranteed to be spoilt for choice with on-board activities, and Arvia is no exception… Prepare for an underwater adventure like no other. New and exclusive to Arvia, Mission Control is a unique immersive experience. Combining an escape game with multimedia simulation and an intense live-action story to create a thrilling underwater odyssey in which your team must save the day; Mission Control puts you at the heart of the action and is bound to get hearts racing and minds working!
Mission Control offers two one-hour experiences: a family-friendly adventure suitable for all ages and an adventure designed especially for adults. Set on board the fictional submarine Arvia II, you’ll board in groups of up to 10 to form a team of marine explorers and underwater detectives to overcome danger and solve puzzles at every turn. The incredibly realistic 3D surroundings will take you to the depths of ocean canyons, where you’ll encounter astonishing marinescapes, sunken cities and underwater creatures. If you succeed in your mission, you’ll join Dr Ryan’s team and graduate as a fully-fledged member of the Marine Research Institute. This unique environmental experience will not only be a great adventure but also leave you with a greater awareness of the need to protect our fragile marine ecosystems - what’s not to love?
