After her naming ceremony by her godfather, the Inter Miami footballer Lionel Messi; the highly-anticipated inaugural cruise on Royal Caribbean’s all-new Icon of the SeasSM set sail from Miami on 27 January 2024. She will offer week-long Eastern and Western Caribbean itineraries year round, each visiting Royal Caribbean’s award-winning private island, Perfect Day at CocoCay.

Icon of the SeasSM was built at Meyer Turku in Finland, is 365 metres long, and weighs 250,800 GT. She has a total of 20 Decks, 2,805 Staterooms for 5,610 Guests (Double Occupancy), 2,350 International Crew, Seven Pools and Nine Whirlpools, Six Record-Breaking Waterslides, and Eight Neighborhoods – Aquadome, Central Park, Chill Island, Royal Promenade, Surfside, Suite Neighborhood, The Hideaway, and Thrill Island.
